Microsoft Lync

Microsoft Lync (formerly Office Communicator) allows instantaneous communication that doesn’t get lost in the clutter of a mailbox.  Share your screen with co-workers, temporarily grant control of your desktop to another user to correct a spreadsheet or install a printer, work remotely, or telecommute to a meeting.

Use Lync to Instant Message fellow employees; Instant Message users of services like Gmail, AIM, Dell, Microsoft, and hundreds of other organizations; share your screen or an application with other Lync users; use Instant Messaging via mobile devices; make audio and video calls from your computer; hold audio and video conferences; and hold online meetings with users outside of UNH.

Lync is available now to anyone with a UNH Exchange Email account.
